Distressed jeans are always hot style,  I gathered a few tips from my earlier years of denim Dying for this  tutorial.

Here are five easy different techniques that you can use to distress your  blue jeans.

You can choose to use anyone, technique, or all of the tips at once to destroy your  any color jeans  like black blue skinny  slim fit  jeans to the distress  as you desire.

1. FADE THE  JEANS DYE.

Fade the dye jeans

I prefer the look of jeans that have really been put through the wash a few times. You can achieve this by washing the jeans for two side  straight, or follow what I did  I made a mix of 50% water and 50% bleach within it.

I painted the bleach water on the top surface  jeans with a paintbrush to give it a streaky look and focused most of the bleach water at the knees, where jeans  start tend to fade the most.

please let the bleach water set overnight to make them really light I do highly recommend checking on them every hour or so to make sure your denim is not fading too fast for your liking  and then an hour before.

I washed and dried them, I painted the seams also where jeans tend to hold on to color the most one last time for an even fade all over.

2. FRAY THE JEANS POCKETS AND EDGES.

FRAY THE POCKETS AND EDGES

One of the quickest ways to fray denim Jean Pant is with a regular disposable shaving razor. These are particularly very helpful when going over the zipper area  like waistband  and edges pockets. Just scrape the razor back and forth until you get the look you desired. You can also use razors to make frayed patches on the jeans pant bottom edges.

3. USE BOBBY PINS TO MAKE SMALLER HOLES ON JEANS.

USE BOBBY PINS TO MAKE SMALLER HOLES

Technique no 3 use a bobby pin with a blunt metal edge to pick and scrape at the denim jean pant and create very tiny holes. This method are very good for subtle distressing Jeans.

4. CUT JEANS AND PLUCK FOR BIG THREADED HOLES.

CUT AND PLUCK FOR BIG THREADED HOLES

This is my favorite way to distress any color jeans because the finished look great. To start cut horizontal strips half an inch apart from blue jean.  please make the strips as long as you want the hole to be. Also take a pair of tweezers and pluck all of the blue threads out of the strips.

In denim jeans the white threads run horizontally and the blue run vertically. By removing the blue threads from jeans you can create that horizontal white threaded look.  you can also tore some of the white threads to make  hole a little messier.

5. RUB WITH SANDPAPER FOR JEANS SOFTNESS

RUB JEANS WITH SANDPAPER FOR SOFTNESS

To make your blue jeans look and feel soft do rub them down with good quality sandpaper. This won’t create holes or anything  unless you rub hard them for like several hours but it’ll make the denim jean pant super soft, like you h’ve had wear them for ages.
